A record you don't see every day - two great 1921 sides on a rare label. These were memorably described by the late Michael Wyler in his book 'A Glimpse of the Past' as being "...like Lebanese wine - rough but good". All loaded up and ready for the CLPGS Phonofair tomorrow at Powick Village Hall, near Worcester. It's one of my favourite fairs, with its mix of machines, records, cylinders and ephemera, not to mention the legendary bacon sandwiches. Don't miss it!

A new addition to the (if it ever happens) 'Black Europe - Too Late, Too Late' project - a 1904 Pete Hampton Lambert Indestructible cylinder - a happy find at Birmingham Record Fair last Sunday. That's 7 or 8 'missing' Hamptons I can account for, plus some other artists as well.
Nothing on tomorrow? Get down to the Birmingham Record Fair, National Motorcycle Museum, 9-4.30. I've a load of new goodies on offer and it's a great day out - one of the best!
