Beith Astro
Description
Beith Astro is a Third Generation state-of-the-art, SFA licensed football pitch, providing first class training and playing facilities. Beith Astro is no normal sports facility, it is a community owned and led organisation. After years of neglect Beith Astro had become derelict. Finally clubs, groups and teams rallied together to discuss the lack of suitable facilities in the town. Soon an alliance was formed, who published a report based on the feasibility of community ownership of the sporting facilities in Beith. Based upon this report Beith Community Development Trust was formed to enable the redevelopment of Beith Astro.
Fastforward 5 years and you will find a state of the art, third generation football training pitch, accompanied by 6 modern changing pavilions.
Beith Astro is a revolutionary synthetic training surface, it offers the closest resemblance to real grass possible. Consisting of a grass like 50mm pile surface that is filled with recycled rubber granules, making friction burns a thing of the past. The 11-a-sdie pitch can be split into three 7-a-side pitches for training and small sided games.
Beith Astro also provides Kids Camps, Astroball, Kids Parties, KitWash, KitSwap and much much more... got to www.beithastro.co.uk to find out more.
