Growing in confidence and reaching new heights! This hill at our site is an activity in itself. The children just love to climb it and stand tall at the top! There is often a slip, tumble, a good bit of dusting off and a lot of perseverance. I heard a quote the other day which could not be more apt, “Don’t rescue your child from a challenge, teach them how to face it”. 😊🌿

People often ask ... “What do you do when it rains?” My answer is always - We put our hoods up and we crack on. But the reality is, we get very wet! Last weekend the weather forecast was torrential rain, so we had a play with our @ddhammocks tarpaulins and came up with this activity shelter! Perfect for making Christmas tree decorations under! 🎅🏼🎄

We had our first ‘snow’ at forest school last weekend! ⛄️ Ok, ok, so they were actually hail stones! We listened to the sound the hail stones made on the shelter, watched them fall, we collected them and even built a snowman! It definitely got us in the Christmas spirit!
