Looking to lose weight 😁 Pay attention to number 8 👍 1. Start by tracking your food for about a week before starting to get an idea of what you are already eating. 2. invest in a food scales, Weigh everything in Grams Pre-plan your meals whenever possible and enter them into your tracker BEFORE you eat them. This will give you the ability to make adjustments to portions and fill in the gaps where necessary. 3. Hit your protein and fiber goals first. Then fill in the carbs and fats. Do your very best to get within 5g of each macro daily. Rarely will it ever be perfect, but do your best not to go too far over or under. 4. If you drink alcohol. Track it. 5. You can continue to eat all the foods you already love, you may just have to plan your day around them. 6. Ask questions. 7. Don't freak out if you gain early on, especially if you are coming off a low-carb or super low calorie diet. It won't last forever if you are doing what is recommended. 8. Use body measurements and progress photos to track your journey because they speak a lot louder than the scale. 9. When it comes to exercise, find something you actually like to do and mix it up if you have to in order to stay motivated. Lifting weights is not for everyone and not everyone loves cardio. Your trainer is valuable in setting you up with a routine and holding you accountable if that is what you need. 10. remember this is a lifestyle change that you will need to sustain for the long run. It is not a quick fix or fad diet where you feel restricted or hungry all the time.
