Another awesome Carols by Candlelight event this year! Massive thank you and well done to everyone who made it such a success! It takes a lot of work to make these great events happen and we really appreciate all the effort in planning, all those who set up, those serving refreshments, those behind the scenes cleaning up and tidying away, our awesome Youth and Kids Club group performances, the lovely ladies and children for a sweet Nativity play, the techy guys, Ugbana hosting, the beautiful music from the Worship team and our lovely Pastor Sanjay, for his heartfelt message 💜 Not forgetting the fab duo, Nick and Sean, for the brilliant puppet show comedy and song and dance 😂 Here's the jazzed up 12 days of Christmas version recorded if you missed it or want a good giggle watching it back! Every 1st Sunday of the month we have Wessex Messy Church 4-6pm. We had a great time yesterday! A big thank you to all who came and to our lovely volunteers! Messy Church is a non traditional Church for families involving lots of fun, crafts, stories and food - all FREE! It's values are about being Christ-centred, for all ages, based on creativity, hospitality and celebration. We look forward to the next one, all families are welcome!

We're excited for our Kids Club annual Treats no Tricks party coming up soon 🎉 Why not join us for an evening of fun and games with lots of goodies to enjoy as well! For 3-11 year olds. Fancy dress (not scary) is optional and prizes are on offer for the best costumes. Parents/carers can enjoy tea/coffee and cakes while the kids have fun. We are really excited to be running an Alpha course at Wessex starting Thursday 28th September! It will be a series of interactive, laid back, friendly and informal sessions freely exploring the basics of the Christian faith, with a FREE dinner! The course will run for 11 weeks, every Thursday between 7:30 - 9:15pm (arrive anytime from 7pm). Dinner, tea and coffee will be served between 7:30 - 8pm. The last session, week 11, will be on a Saturday. What is Alpha? Alpha is a series of interactive sessions that freely explore the basics of the Christian faith. Who is Alpha for? Alpha is for anyone who's curious. The talks are designed to encourage conversation and explore the basics of the Christian faith in a friendly, open and informal environment. No question is out of bounds and you are free to discuss as much or as little as you wish. How does it work? Alpha is ten sessions with the option of a day or weekend away in the middle. Each session includes food, a short talk and a discussion at the end where you can share your thoughts. At any point, if you think Alpha isn't for you, that's not a problem. There's no pressure, no follow up and no charge.
