This week Tom's mk2 and mk1 in for some work including sill cut out and replace.. i also acquired a set of evo 4 oz alloys to fit on the bus but even after Jan Eldem kindly spent all day sat sanding them i was still not happy with the results so,,i gave them a few coats of sand texture paint followed with more satin black and i think they look cool..

This week i have been doing my third auto to manual conversion. This time an early 1.6 mk1 auto using a very rusty mk2.5 Manual as the donor car. some things will need using out of stock to finish the job.

Great gathering this sat. and good fun as always, thanks guys. Started early with myself and uncle Keith doing the unglam things, cleaning the toilet, mopping the floor, setting up the tea area for toast(its a new thing) cleaning the cups and generally making it look clean and tidy for peeps. Keith's bmw was first on the ramp with a promised oil and filter change. then Maddas vdub had some love. i cant fit these on the ramp and its the only vehicle i have failed with in 2 years. so after having 1 more try we ended up doing the calliper unsticking on the floor. lots of peeps with lots of cars and even some 5s arrived, dietary food was consumed for lunch and work commenced briskly afterwards.

This week so far a mk2 alternator replacement and a mk1 in for loads of love.. timing belt hood service brakes etc etc.
