Monday's cleaning tip: Sanitise your sponges in the microwave... Sponges are the perfect place for germs to harbour, most people throw them out before the life cycle is over. Save yourself money by popping a wet sponge in the microwave for a couple of minutes, sizzle away the microbes and kill 99% of germs.

Make pet stink disappear!!!.... Deodorise the soft places around your house including your dog bed, by sprinkling surfaces with baking soda, letting it sit for 15 minutes and then vacuuming it up.

Good Wednesday morning! Ladies when it comes to ovens, they can be a hard task to clean. Below is an oven I had cleaned recently using a drop of good old fairy and a wire wool, with a bit of elbow grease. No chemicals needed. The best tip I can give: place a square of grease proof paper at the bottom your oven, stops grease build up and will save you a lot of hard work cleaning!
