I'm sure many people will have been staying indoors as much as possible to avoid the Beast from the East. I've been busy thinning my ash plantation to gather up lots of firewood for next winter's cold weather...

It's been a busy week and I've now sold out of all firewood. Thanks to all my customers, new and old. I will be cutting more trees over the coming months and processing into blocks ready for next winter. Looking forward to helping keep your home fires burning again.

I've been busy processing logs in readiness for next winter so here's a taster of what £70 gets you. These blocks are freshly processed so they're still wet (hence the low suspension!) but after six months in my drying shed they'll be ready to burn. 2017/18 prices per loose cubic metre delivered to the local area £35 softwood, £65 hardwood. Discounts available for bulk orders, deliveries can be reserved now on payment of £20 deposit. If you see my pickup on the roads between now and Halloween take a photo, post it to my page and comment where it was taken to be entered in a prize draw to win a cubic metre of premium hardwood ash blocks.
