Once again we are happy to host the Ulster Orchestra on their Spring "On Your Doorstep" Tour The Orchestra’s Ballymena performance, is this time under the baton of renowned conductor Tecwyn Evans. The Braid Film Theatre is showing the 1946 version of the classic fairytale Beauty and the Beast In Jean Cocteau's haunting, lyrical adaptation of Beauty and the Beast, a merchant is told that he must die for picking a rose from the Beast's garden. However, his courageous daughter Josette offers to give herself up to the Beast instead. Eventually, Josette is drawn to the strangely fascinating Beast.
