St Andrew's Church, Aylestone
Description
This Mediaeval Church is open for Sunday Worship:
08:00 - Holy Communion
10:15 - Choral Eucharist
18:30 - Choral Evensong (1st Sun in Month)
+ other times
Probably Aylestone's oldest building, this mediaeval Church is fast approaching it's 800th birthday. Tucked away from the Lutterworth road and off Middleton Street, it serves a strong community of people who work and strive to keep a continuous train of weekly worship available for all within it's walls. Truly a community centre, it sees not only Choral Eucharists and Evensongs, but rehearsals, quilters, bell-ringers, Parents and toddlers' sing-a-longers and people seeking moments of quiet stillness in their busy lives.
