Northumberland College Taster Days - Year 11's Our taster days provide future students with a taste of the wide variety of courses we offer and to find out what life as a student at Northumberland College is really like. The programme is free to all students in Year 11 at any school or college. This includes anyone who has already applied to study at Northumberland College for September 2018 entry. Our Ashington, Kirkley Hall and Berwick campuses will all be offering these on different days throughout the Easter holidays. For more information please visit

We have lots of exciting placement opportunities across Northumberland and Tyne and Wear with a range of companies for students and graduates to gain valuable work experience to support your future career path. Placements are for students studying at level 3 or above and for new college or university graduates. They will be a minimum of 30 hours which can be flexible to fit around your studies, and may lead to permanent positions. Travel expenses will be paid.
