At Brooklyn Day Nursery your child will be encouraged to ask questions, state their point of view and respect the opinions of others as they move towards independent learning. Fantastic woodland setting has allowed the making of memories for generations of happy children attending Brooklyn over many , many years .
Our children benefit from an extremely active day - building foundations for exercise becoming part of life .
The children are at the centre of every thing we do - from planning a meal to a trip to the daily activities and watch this space when it snows - yippeee.

We love our monthly library bus visit - this is a wonderful Free service provided for us - we are very lucky to have our very own stop for the library bus on our own front door !!! Part of our everyday provision which is at our core and we shouldn't take it for granted - I reckon a lot of you were unaware of this wonderful little nugget of time each month and of course then a fresh pile of books each month for us to share 🙄🙄🙄

Hello - it's actually WARM in the sunshine out there today - brought us round to the sunhat / suncream issue for the coming months ahead . -We have enough hats for all children so unless you specifically request your child wears their own which you will label and supply - then we are happy to provide (and wash😄😄) a hat for them . -Suncream can also be provided as in previous years at a cost of £5.00 for the whole summer (bargain as they get coated at least twice a day ) this saves issues of you providing then replacing and getting the right one for the right child etc HOWEVER obviously if your child has skin issues and you can get their cream on prescription or use a certain type only - then obviously you can label and send this in . We use the highest recommended factor for sensitive skin as shown - please tell staff if you DO NOT WANT NURSERY CREAM the 5.00 can be added to May bills or you can pay cash - Thank you - lets simplyfy and enjoy the Summer term 😍😍😍

We now have an app !! Another way to get messages and events to you . We are aware our facebook page is very well recieved - but not by everyone - and some parents don't do pick ups or drop off so they miss our posters/notices ! This app can be downloaded free by parents only - for us to have another prong to our communication systems with you . Leaflets with username and password on will be sent out tomorrow xx
