Mat Pilates classes in Little Missenden and Great Missenden. Hi, my name is Annalisa and I am a fully qualified Pilates instructor. I have been in the fitness industry since 2002 when I became an Exercise to Music instructor. Since then I have obtained several qualifications in different fitness related disciplines and I have worked in many Health clubs around London and Buckinghamshire. I started practicing Pilates while pregnant with my first son (over 14 years ago) as impact exercise and weight lifting became increasingly difficult. I soon realised Pilates can give you everything you need in your training programme; it dramatically transforms the way your body looks, feels and performs. It builds strength without excess bulk, creates a sleek, toned body and a flat abdomen, it teaches body awareness, good posture and good movement, it improves flexibility, agility and motion. Pilates is extremely adaptable and it can therefore benefit anyone of any age and fitness levels, from professional athletes to postnatal mums and people experiencing joint pain including lower back pain. My small and friendly classes focus on matwork exercises with slow and controlled movements and are suitable to all ages and abilities. Mats and additional small equipment provided. Just bring yourself and wear comfortable clothes you can move in. Booking onto a course is necessary.
