We love to know where our artists find inspiration! These beautiful paintings by Patrica Haskey are a tribute to her mother. They are Inspired by and take titles from her poem "Twilight" TWILIGHT:- And the tide of life ebbs. A quiet time When golden memories Flood the mind, Lingering brightly Like pools upon wet sands. The force is spent Which sought to storm High, rocky shores: Passion settles to mere bubbles Holding in their fragile globes Small bursts of energy. The horizon darkens, Life’s ships still voyaging Beyond its curvèd rim Bearing their cargoes Of long-cherished dreams. Darkness! Is this, then, the end? No, hope sails high With the rising moon, And sheds its silver radiance O’er the ever-rolling years. by Mary Haskey (1920 – 2014)
