A client of mine phoned this morning in a panic that his sons passport expired 2 weeks ago and they leave for their holiday on Monday. I phoned the Embassy in Spain & airline to be told what was expected. He needed a valid passport. The UK passport office do offer a same day service for adults only. He thought he would try his luck as he had nothing to loose. Upto London he went, Begged & pleaded, got himself heard and success 🙌 they are off on theirs hols 😅 ☀️ This was an exceptional case by the passport office. Last week I had a family in a similar situation, the office wouldn’t issue the child’s passport in a day, the day before they flew it arrived 😅 This could be costly experience. Please check & double check those passports when you books your hols.
