We strive for all of our members to get the results they crave for, whether it be, weight loss, fat loss,muscle building, sports specific or general fitness. We have 2 floors over a large 10000 square feet area. Our gym is split into 4 zones, Zone one is our studio where all of our fitness classes take place. Zone 2 is our first floor of the gym. On this floor we have a wide variety of technogym cardio and resistance kit along with a significant free weights area.  In zone 2 we have the Peak Power Zone. In this one we 25 pieces of plate loaded equipment along with an Olympic platform and another significant free weights area. Zone 4 we have our peak performance Zone in the Peak performance zone we have a boxing ring, punch bags, training rig, prowler , ketttlebells, trx and much more. Our gym has  changing and shower facilities.  So if you are looking for a great gym in Airdrie or a gym in Coatbridge then check us out you will be pleasantly surprised at what you see. Hi Team, just to let you all know that from now on Tommy will be taking our sunday classes we realised that the gym instructor was being interupted during sunday classes with gym duties, so Tommy is now taking over classes on a sunday to help you reach your health, fitness and body goals 💪 classes are: 💥10.30 - 11.00 - Ab attack 👊 This will be a circuit set up in the studio using a range of equipment and exercises. 💥11.00 - 11.30 - GymFit 🏋️‍♂️🏋️‍♀️ This will be a circuit on the gymfloor using our resistance and cardio machines, skipping ropes, Dumbells and steps etc. Use your fitsense app to book in msg us or comment below 😊 Thanks Dawn x #teampeak

Hi guys, Tommy here hope your having a great week this is a topic that comes up in the fitness industry and i'm delighted to share my views and research into this topic. *IS YOUR DAY TO DAY DESK JOB PUTTING YOUR HEALTH AT RISK* Every day from our work to our daily lives being sedentary and sitting down has been something that has become more and more frequent in our daily lives. Let's say for example a person works a 9-5 job in an office mainly sitting and then they get one 15 minute break and one 30 minute lunch break that is normally spent sitting down. Then you go home and sit down again and watch tv for the rest of the night. What is the problem with this you say well let's start with Physical aspects - A lot of sitting leads to health conditions such as: - Obesity - Increased blood pressure - High blood sugar - Excess body fat around the waist - Abnormal cholesterol levels - Increased chance of cardiovasular disease Also sitting for prolonged periods of time especially hunched over can cause lower back pain as the hip flexors, the inner muscle group around the pelvic girdle that is associated with the (LPHC) The Lumbo Pelvic Hip Complex can shorten/tighten and therefore pull on the deep spinal muscles the multifidus and therefore causes tension on the lower spine at the Lumbar vertebrae column How about mental? yes, we don't just think of the physical side but also the mental. If you do not like your job or its not as fulfilling as you once thought it was then it leads to boredom and procrastination the number one problem of this is snacking and can lead to co-workers stashing comfort food in snack drawers in order to pass time. Depression and depending on the type of office job isolation is also a big issue. and then the prolonged periods of working hours followed by 15-minute breaks which are not enough for a fulfill meal which bad snacking choices from the vending machine is also made. So whats the main solution to this why not come into peakfitness and find out how you can better improve your lifestyle and overall fitness levels and achieve your desored goals in life. 🏋🏋🏋🏋
