Description
Happy dog walking service is an established dog walking and pet home visit service, set up in September 2011, and is based in the Yorkshire village of Addingham, perfect dog walking countryside. My name is Lucinda and I started my business with the philosophy that although dog walking does not require a professional qualification it does require a love of animals, organisation, reliaiblity and a genuine desire to do right by the customer.
As an ex nurse and with over 10 years employment experience at the Marie Curie Hospice Bradford, I regard myself as trustworthy, flexible and caring. My aim is to fit in with your needs and be respectful of your dog (or other pet) and property.

In my wisdom* I decided to take up cross country/fell running again and after a fantastic moor run on Monday with 5 dogs, all loving the excitement of the chase, I spent the rest of the week nursing my middle-aged right hip. Thanks to modern analgesics and good, ol' fashioned monk's libation all is well and the running shoes are back on....watch this space 👣 (* delusion)

School summer hols over and it's back to business as usual. A week of giddy dogs + mainly sunny walks = happy times. Sonny, the pup, is now big and bold enough to be out with the A-team and has enjoyed stretching his legs and lungs! Wishing you all a good weekend X

After a relatively short period of illness we had to say goodbye to our sweet Carla today and she will be greatly missed. Never was there a more gentle soul. Thanks to all her happy dog friends who helped to give her a truly good life xx
