HAHAV - Hospice At Home Aberystwyth Volunteers
Description
A volunteer led community group providing practical, psychosocial care, and friendship for people with chronic illness needing end of life care. Hospice At Home Aberystwyth is a brand new volunteer led charity offering community-based end-of-life care to patients in North Ceredigion and the surrounding area.
The charity is new and currently undergoing final setup with a goal of helping our first clients and carers in the first half of 2015. In order to extend a helping hand to our first clients, we are finalising setup of the charity, raising initial funds and recruiting and training volunteers.

Thankyou TSB and Emlyn Mainwaring for organising a 'cake fest' on Tuesday February 28th and on St David's day. Dr Alan Axford (in photo) showing Emlyn support on behalf of HAHAV. Aberystwyth TSB raised £125 altogether over the two days. Bringing the total so far to £626.80!

We are grateful to TSB Aberystwyth making HAHAV its Charity of the Year. TSB began raising money for HAHAV in October 2016, with the target goal of raising £1000 by Oct 2017. Altogether so far TSB has raised £501.80 for HAHAV. On TUESDAY FEBRUARY 28th there will be a fundraising day. Tempting cake stands with Welsh cakes, bara brith and lemon drizzle cake. You can even take away some Welsh cakes packed in bundles of five. There will be balloons and bunting and daffodils in the banking hall and also maybe some Tom jones in the backround! Please pop in!! Rydym yn ddiolchgar i Fanc TSB Aberystwyth am wneud HAHAV ei Elusen y Flwyddyn. Dechreuodd TSB godi arian ar gyfer HAHAV ym mis Hydref 2016, gyda'r nod o godi £1000 erbyn Hydref 2017. Yn gyfan gwbl hyd yn hyn mae TSB wedi codi £501.80 ar gyfer yr elusen. DDYDD MAWRTH 28 Chwefror bydd diwrnod codi arian yn y Banc Mi gewch eich temtio gyda chacennau blasus, pice bach, bara brith a chacen diferion lemwn. Gallwch hyd yn oed fynd i ffwrdd gyda rhai pice wedi eu pacio mewn bwndeli o bump. Bydd balwnau, baneri a Chennin Pedr yn y neuadd fancio a hefyd efallai bydd Tom Jones yn y cefndir! Awydd ennill £100? Amser yn rhedeg allan! Ar ddechrau Rhagfyr, bu Syd yn weindio'r cloc 12 awr - yna cafodd ei roi mewn bocs wedi ei selio. Tic, toc, tic, toc .... distawrwydd! Am ddim ond £1 y funud, gallwch chi ddyfalu'r amser y stopiodd y cloc. Bydd yr enillydd lwcus yn derbyn £100 a £620 yn mynd at ein helusen HAHAV. (720 munud) Bydd y bocs yn cael ei agor ar ddydd Mawrth 14 Chwefror. Pob lwc i bawb! Fancy winning £100? Time is running out! At the beginning of December, Syd wound up our 12 hour clock - it was then placed in a sealed box. Tick, tock, tick, tock .... silence. For just a £1 a minute, you can guess the time when you think the clocked stopped. The lucky winner will receive £100 and £620 will go to our HAHAV charity.
