Waggy Tail Boarding is a small boarding kennel designed for comfort and fun, with lots of attention and play with a motto "Where dogs have holidays too". Waggy Tail Boarding has 8 rooms with a maximum 12 dog occupancy set in a remote rural location so please forgive the road, drive slow. Underfloor heated, secure and bright. High fenced open area for off lead fun, walks along bottom of Ben Rinnes, a pond for paddling in hot days as well as individual kennel outdoor space. Shower room for muckie pups, and kitchen for food prep. Please note I suggest bring your dogs own food and beds as this can really make a difference to their settle in period and keeping tums happy. I also ask all new visitors to fill in booking forms all about their dog as this also helps me give maximum fun and adds to their enjoyment whilst they stay on their holidays. I am also rural so no landline and broadband is via a dish so if I do not reply straight away I check both always in the morning and early evening. I will get back to you. Please see website for more details.

Evening all, well busy day again ha ha. We welcomed first timer Ranger this morning and he jumped into the gang and made instant pals with Alfie and Tilly. So after the meet and greet we headed onto the Ben to show Ranger about :-). At that point Harvey decided he was going on his own mission, so we hovered about playing a few games whilst we waited, alas he was not on speedy rush to come back and the way he went was going to be too tough for Jazz, so we popped her back whilst we went off to find Harvey, eventually he appeared knackered, so we headed back and picked up Jazz, who was furious at being left but glad as she would have regretted it. So we carried on and wondered along the Ben and returned via the valley. In the afternoon we had another campfire as it started to drizzle and then spent the afternoon in woof way as I collected wood to store for future campfires before the rain soaked it all, Ranger had me laughing as he copied what I was doing and kept running off collecting a stick and presented his stick very proud of himself bless him a little helper. The bandits had a good sniff about the woods, Alfie followed Ranger about as they stopped to play at times, and Harvey and Jazz grumbled over massive branches ha ha, Lexi hid by my side playing the odd dookin game as we went. We got back just in time to say goodbye to Buster, and then not long later Tilly 2's. We welcome back more tomorrow :-). And fingers crossed the rain isn't too bad or we might hide in woof way again ha ha. Tired woofs once again but will be up for the night play later.

Evening all, well fine day again. We said goodbye to Mabel this morning, but welcomed back Harvey,Jazz and a bigger Alfie ha ha. They bounced into the group and Lexi ran for cover, Tilly feel in love with Alfie, Buster yelled at them, Jessie didn't notice and Mylo told them off ha ha. Once that was over we headed out LOL onto the Ben with Harvey telling me everything he has been up to all the way along, I was glad we got to the stream!! ha ha Plenty mousing was being had and a few games too. We ambled along on the way back with Buster and Tilly making an Aroooooo around the forest, so the rest of us had a chill out at the campfire until they appeared. We then mooched about the area as Jazz can't do great long walks and race about like she used to, although try telling her that!! But mouse hunting in the tall grass slowed everything down, except Alfie and Tilly who played non stop until Harvey tried breaking up the fun, but Tilly told him him off ha ha. Lexi spent most of the day behind my legs until she soon got used to the larger hooligans bless. Well they've tired themselves out and we called it a day just before we said Goodbye to Mylo and Jessie. They will no doubt be up for the night play about. We welcome an overnight guest for the next week and a new playmate in the morning.

Evening all, well bright and wet day LOL. This morning we had a play about before breakfast as it looked like rain so stayed out longer and had a later breakfast, thankfully a good move as we missed the rain shower pheeew. So once it passed we then headed out onto the Ben and to the valley, and this time we stayed in the valley exploring much to the delight of two beagles who rooted about checking the whole length of it ha ha. Mabel and Mae had a race about together chasing each other. Lexi joined Tilly on some mouse hunt adventures. Jessie is no longer itching like mad as he potions have kicked in bless and the family pair enjoyed playing some ball games as I took one with us for the valley. We headed back mid afternoon with some tired woofs so we chilled in the woods and had a campfire before heading back as it was Mae bath time ha ha, bless. As she had her bath I could hear racing round the house going on as Buster had found a toy and was not letting anyone have it as I looked out the bathroom window watching him take off down the enclosure followed by the pack!! Once Mae was washed and dried she could join in before tea time. Tired out gang and we have said goodbye to Mae, Mabel will be sad awwww. Hoping the rain stops for the night play about later. We welcome more tomorrow.

Evening all, well busy day one way or another LOL. We welcomed back Mabel this morning, who a little shy at first soon led the way on race games ha ha. Poor Jessie has developed an allergy to something outdoors, and it hasn't seemed to get better so a vet appointment was made to help her as nothing I had was giving her relief, so decided to keep Milo and Jessie to limited run about and only allowed in grass areas until I could get a better idea how to help. So this morning we had a play about in the enclosure and a trip to the open woodland as the pack distract her from nibbling and itching. Alas Milo doesn't do well without Jessie so popped them both back whilst the rest of us had a play about on the Ben and Valley, at lunchtime we said goodbye to Archie but welcomed back Lexi who bounced into the gang :-). So we stayed in the surrounding area so Jessie and Milo could join in, Buster and Tilly decided they would explore the woods without us as I could hear the Aroooo's but came back JUST in time so I could take Jessie to her appointment. Thankfully the vets have given her things to help her, and as we have no idea what it could be to not stop her enjoying the rest of her days out with the pack as whatever it is could be anything and the pack distract her and her medication will be working from the get go :-), should stop the itch as Milo her family has taken to copying Jessie and is getting a red nose from copying her bless him, so it should stop his tandem sympathy awwww. So a pair of wounded warriors but delighted they can still join in as they'd be furious at staying in all day!! Should hopefully stay dry for the night time fun as it was cut a little short but not by too much, they're still wiped out regardless and lucked out on a early dinner ha ha.

Evening all, Well a bright start with a wet afternoon. We said goodbye to Pops this morning and after a slightly sleepless evening it took some bribery to get a couple of lazy beagles to come out this morning ha ha. However once out they decided to go visit the forest with some Aroooo's, so the rest of us played a few games till the pair decided to join us LOL. So we headed onto the Ben ambling along with of course the visit to the valley and stream. Archie and Jessie just love launching in after dookins ha ha. We took our time wondering back, and just as well we made it too the woods as the heavens opened and it lashed down, we made it to woof hut before we got too soaked and hid !!. It passed over and we did a wonder into the forest now the beagles had cleared out any deer ha ha, so we spent a bit of time on woof way. We were going to make a camp fire when the tired gang decided to call it a day and wondered back home in a line, as I looked up with a bundle of sticks and saw a line of tails going home bless, so we called it a day as democracy rules :-). If the rain stays away the gang will be up for the night wonder, although if it's chucking it I know a few will be hard to convince awwwww. We welcome back more tomorrow :-).

Evening all, well lovely day again :-). We welcomed first timer Pops this morning who was a little shy at first but soon came out her shell and bounced along with the gang. After a play about in the enclosure we headed onto the Ben and took our time wondering along enjoying the weather, with a long stop at the valley for the water lovers ha ha. Archie has become a photo obsessed poser ha ha, he now whimpers at me to make sure I know he's posing LOL !! Milo is still collecting boulders, and Tilly has shown Buster the art of mousing and Buster caught one but then had no idea what to do with it so I was able to rescue it. Jessie rushes to the stream in the valley and virtually dives head first into it followed by Archie ha ha although he managed to become two tone as he found a bog AGAIN. In the afternoon we mooched about the woodland area as I started plotting another project for bulb planting later in the year. Looks like it could be clear for the night and I know I'll bring the midge cream after today's flapping ha ha. Tired woofs, but know they will be up for the night play about later.

Evening all, well somehow we managed to get another lovely day until right at the end when we did a mad dash for it! This morning we said goodbye to Darcy, Buster very sad to see his playmate gone awww. We headed onto the Ben and made a bee line for the valley led by Archie for his spa swim ha ha, Tilly and Buster did some Aroooo's but not very far whilst we played some games, Archie excelled himself so much we had to have a rest and he decided it was time for a lie down and I got a great photo as just in the background you can make out Mae having an Ooops moment and she tumbled down the bank ha ha. Milo continued his epic boulder search and proudly shows one off. Tilly thankfully remembered to go under the fence today ha ha, and Bobby continued to follow Tilly around. Jessie played non stop with games, once we got back we had a chill out in the woodland area and got a campfire on the go as everyone had a wee snooze except Jessie and I as she carried on dookin games. We then had a mooch into woof way and the recent downpours have caused some path blockage which will be fixed at some point although going in and out of woof way at speed due to all the deer lurking about which is far too tempting for some and we do avoid it some days. We made it back just before the rain lashed down, tired woofs now and we have just said goodbye to Bobby. We welcome more tomorrow :-). I also may need a lot of midge cream tonight!! Grrrrr

Evening all, well we lucked out with the weather..seemed to watch it surround us but miss us :-). This morning we welcomed first timer Bobby and welcomed back Milo and Jessie. We did the meet and greet and Tilly has a new boyfriend awwwww Bobby rather smitten ha ha, and Jessie got Bobby kisses ha ha. So we headed along the Ben taking our time playing games and visiting the valley, we had some posing going on today by some..Archie has to be bribed with treats so he allows others to get a pose going ha ha. Bobby was a little nervous of the camera and was a little shy but then soon got used to it and into the spirit ha ha. We got back just after lunch and decided to chill out and relax in the sunshine as every decided to do some sunbathing, except Tilly who was on a mouse hunting mission and Bobby just followed her ha ha. Then we played some games and Milo who never used to share games has become a different dog and will happily share ball games now, as long as it's tennis ball size LOL, if it was a football I think it might be different, but good for him :-). Sun is still shining and the gang are just in for tea as I had a mass line up demanding dinner just after 4 ha ha, so they win!! Hoping it stays dry for the night time play about fingers crossed. Tired woofs all full bellied and fast a sleep bless.

Evening all, well been a busy day :-), and some how we only got caught in the odd sudden downpour the rest of the day has been super. Alas my camera got caught in a downpour but I did manage some photos before hand. We said goodbye to Millie Moo and Grier this morning, after which we stayed in the enclosure and played a few games although sunbathing was a big part of the morning as I had some tired woofs as we had a much longer muck about last night, at lunchtime we welcomed back Marra with her new best pal puppy Della who had a play about met me and the pack and she coped really well as we had a wee wonder up to the woods and then a wee ball game play. In the afternoon we did a quick trip up to the Ben and Valley before a play about and the we called it a day earlier as it started to lash it down and we said goodbye to Bentley. I did a mad dash into Elgin to stock up on Tilly 2's fav night time treat ( She would be heartbroken without) and some grub for me :-). It's lashing down as I speak but hope it won't be too bad as we head out tonight as we'll get a walk in tonight. We welcome back more tomorrow :-).

Evening all, well another pleasant day again. This morning we welcomed back Millie Moo, who bounced into the group and made pals :-). So we were out a little earlier than usual so we played a few games in the enclosure before lunchtime so Bentley could get a good run about before his sulking lead walk at lunchtime ha ha awwww. We headed along the Ben visiting the valley which is a must, and played a few games on the way back with a sniff into woof way. Arrived back in the enclosure were we played some more games. Buster has me in stitches when we're in the enclosure unlike Tilly who goes mousing round the fence line and doesn't really do ball games, Buster hates to run for anything as he knows he'll get beaten to it, so he prefers a tug toy so he play with me, but sometimes I can't as I'm throwing for others, you will see how he copes when I can't play with him all on his own ha ha. I also captured my fav picture of all time..Buster was standing next to me when he farted as I had the camera in my hand he farted again and I have captured his own shock and wonder at his own fart!!!! LOL. Honestly I laughed so loud the dogs thought I was injured and all came running in for cuddles ha ha. Well hope the weather holds for the night play, and we say goodbye to some tomorrow, but welcome back a known face with her new side kick for her sniff about and meet of me :-). I'll hear the Ahhhh cute comments from here when you meet her. The woofs are wiped out bless and are fast a sleep with full tums awwwww.

Evening all, well another fine day :-). This morning we did a mini trundle along the Ben still with Bentley on the lead but the pack have got used to it now, but he still sulks LOL. Although he does forgive me when he gets to run around when we spend time in the enclosure. Alas I am finding taking the camera and having the lead a bit awkward so photos today are of what we get up to when we're not on the Ben. We stayed out at lunchtime as we welcomed back Archie, who bounced into the gang and made pals awww. So we stayed in the enclosure and played some games and enjoyed the sunshine for a while, with Darcy enjoying her big blue tubs, and Archie also approves. I lost my seat to one beagle ha ha who enjoyed the sunshine his way ha ha. We then did a walk along the Ben but as the sheep are creeping up now we can only go so far now but thankfully we can still make use of the Valley, so plenty water games were had and with Bentley on the lead he got over excited and jumped into the stream bit and I was very close to following him in!! We got back enjoyed the sun a little longer before a rain shower came along, but at that point the gang led by Tilly and Buster were lined up wanting dinner and snooze time bless. They will no doubt be up for the night time games later and hope the rain stays off fingers crossed. We welcome back another tomorrow.

Evening all, well what lovely weather :-) most of the time. Well we welcomed back Tilly 2's this morning and after a meet and greet we headed out for the walk along the Ben. Bentley was limited to the lead and you can tell he didn't forgive me LOL. This solved Buster without his partner Buster didn't wonder off and he stuck with the pack :-). We played a few games, visited the valley and Darcy found her lovely bog again!! we poddled along and some posing was being done by Grier, the girls are so tight as a wee group that Darcy has started to copy Grier in her pose stance ha ha. We headed back and as we reached the woodland area and I had to cross the fence..Buster and Bentley decided to have a game and jumped about with each other, alas Buster got tangled up in the lead, I didn't dare let go of Bentley and as I started to untangle Buster he had scrapped his underpit and Buster being a bit of a whimp when I touched it not knowing he reacted in a split second and caught me a good one ha ha, managed to get them untangled and still had hold of Bentley..I don't blame Buster as I know his history and know he didn't mean it as he has had such trauma when a youngster and totally understand his reaction and he knew instantly. So had to rush the woofs back, called my mum and she woof sat for me as I dived down to get some antibiotics and fixed up..sounds worse than it is :-). I got my own back because Buster had to see the vet as I couldn't get the chance again to look at what he'd done, as I needed him to jump up on me and the vet to see underneath...thankfully he is such a whimp and his was just a scrape and nothing needs to be done so he can crack on with his holiday :-), but needed to check for sure. It might make taking photos a little difficult but will do my best to get some and sure in 24hrs it will be fine :-). The woofs have been ever so good at the lack of fun this afternoon and I'll make it up to them with longer out tonight, think they knew something was up, as they have been sooo gentle round me awwwwww. However no bandit adventures to report today ha ha Bentley is sulking LOL. We welcome back another tomorrow.
