My name is Jackie Stanford (maiden name Cameron!), I am originally from the Isle of Skye and I now live in Aberfoyle with my husband Andy, son Finlay age 8 and daughter Emily age 4. I run Tartan Butterfly making little baby shoes and other gifts from home - I make them from a variety of fabrics including Harris Tweed and am happy to make to order.
Shoe Size guide (measuring sole of foot from heel to toe):
Newborn 8.5cm, 0-3m 9.5cm 3-6m 10.5cm, 6-12m 12cm, 12-18m 13cm
Sizes are approximate and I would suggest if a baby is toward the upper side of the measurement, then best to go for the size up to give room for growth - we don't want squished piggies!

A wee throwback to a pre-Christmas make for a local gent who was very clear about what he had in mind for a made to measure laptop cover - right down to hand drawn diagram with additional notes! Made things so easy to have clear instructions and he seemed very happy with the results, thankfully! 😊 #harristweed

Please note - pre Christmas order book is now *FULL* but can still accept orders for items not required until into the new year. To preempt any messages saying "I spoke to you a few weeks/months ago about ordering X but I never did anything about it. Am I still OK to get in time for Christmas?" Sorry unfortunately not. If we discussed but the order wasn't confirmed or the necessary details haven't been provided, then it won't happen this time, I'm afraid. I make everything myself (the elves are busy elsewhere at Christmas!) so I have to be realistic about how much can be done in time for the big day. But will happily book in to a slot some time in 2018, perhaps for a birthday, Mothers/Fathers Day etc. Apologies for any disappointment and thanks for your understanding.
