Doi Inthanon Elephant Park is a sustainable eco-tourism project located at the Inthanon National Park. It's a initiative between members of the Karen hill-tribes and Chiang Mai locals who were concerned about the welfare of elephants in Thailand. Doi Inthanon Elephant park is home to 7 formerly mistreated elephants, who are now free to enjoy their lives. The project also provides many Karen people with employment and education.
