In 1998, Puricom opened its own booster pump factory in Taichung, Taiwan. Puricom’s patented cooling ring, pump motor is the first of its kind to pass USA UL778 certification.

In 2001, faced with a challenge to design the most compact residential RO unit possible and incorporating ground breaking technology, Puricom gave birth to the efficient and convenient, Direct Flow Tankless, RO system. In 2010 and 2011 RO systems CMB, CME and misting system Bubu were awarded Taiwan Excellence and Golden Pin awards for excellence in product design.

In 2012, Puricom launched the world’s first Zero Installation Purifier - ZIP.  As the worlds first zero plumbing RO dispenser designed according to the principles of sustainability, ZIP was awarded the Taiwan Excellence award. The patented design gives features of zero waste and its intuitional interface makes it the simplest system to run. ZIP is Puricom’s effort to promote a greener planet.
