Description
Lextar Electronics Corp., the Taiwan-based LED company, founded by AU Optronics Corp. in May,2008. Lextar is the first LED company in Taiwan and China integrating from the upper stream, middle stream to downstream manufacturing as well as lighting applications. Lextar’s product line covers TFT-LCD backlight, professional lighting, consumer lighting and other lighting applications. Lextar merged with LightHouse Technologies, the Taiwan-based LED packaging company in March 2010. Headquarters are sited in Hsinchu Science Industrial Park (SIP) in Taiwan; production bases in SIP Hsinchu and Industrial Park Hu-Kou, Taiwan, as well as SIP in Suzhou and Xiamen, China.

2016 LED Expo Taiwan
Lextar's new Humen Centric Lighting luminaire has just won Red Dot design award. It was displayed in Taiwan for the first time at LED Expo Taiwan 2016.
