Contemporary mens & womenswear store, based in Zurich. A contemporary menswear store, based in Zurich - this is Street-Files. We represent a smart mix of modern essentials and timeless classics, to dress up for any occasion. We feature brands that we love, brands with history and brands with great creativity. Street-Files collects ideas from the streets of our favorite cities all over the world. The motivation and aim of the crew is still to surprise with constant product innovation.
THE HISTORY
It all begun in 2006: Alex Braunschmidt, founder and manager worked for a fashion label and travelled all over Europe. Somewhere between boring PR-Meetings and smelly economy flights the idea arose to create a store, filled with all these newcomer labels that he saw in many urban hotspots.
And then it happend: In 2006, with the help of litres of coffee, the webshop went online. The guest room got turned into a photo studio and storage space. In 2008 the first Street-Files MINI MART opened its door with only 15sqm. It worked. It was magic. After that, the hobby soon became a full time job.
Still today, Street-Files is a self initiated and self funded company, that carries some of the most prestigious brands in the world of sophisticated streetwear in their assortment. In 2012, Street-Files bought and integrated the webstore Dialogshop into their own webshop. The motivation and aim of the crew is still to surprise our customers with constant product innovation.
