Custom handmade watercraft. Skin on frame kayaks, stitch and glue or strip built. Also offering assistance with all DIY projects you don't have time for. Are you setting up a new home or do you have home improvement projects that you just haven’t gotten around to? I am a Dutch carpenter living in Zurich providing handyman services. I have the tools and skills to do the DIY projects you don’t have time for: repairs, installations, cabinets, bars, cat ladders, etc.

An opportunity to learn how to build a Skin On Frame kayak.
Some steps to go through to end up with a F1 skin on frame kayak built in the fuselage style. Paper print outs for cross sections, some plywood, a jigsaw, a building frame, some space, some time and a bunch of concentration.

It was a rainy day and the bridge supposedly was built without any nails. Nice myth but far from true of course. The boats are not kayaks but none the less very nice looking vessels.

What if I had a kayak? Number One didn't work out that great So I built Number Two. Not a great name but do kayaks need one? This one is now living in a box in the basement. She could be revived with some long pieces of wood and a new canvas (nylon or polyester) skin.

From the same author as Kayaks of Greenland. (A survey of Greenland kayaks in museums). This is most likely another treasure for those who want to know more about these lovely and ingenious watercraft. Most Kayaks I've built over the years were based on his prior book.
