Description
Narrating stories using dance and movement, because life is more fun if you dance ! Cat People Films, was founded in 2014 by Laura Kaehr, a production company based in Minusio and Zurich. Its main focus is production, co-production and development of feature fictions and documentaries for cinema and television. Its main focus is on arthouse dance films and musicals. Cat People films also produces Multimedia and transmedia projects and Dance/theater productions. This philosophy was influenced by the great–grand father of Laura Kaehr, Friedrich Kaehr, a multitalented artist and gardener, resident in the anarchic artistic colony of the Monte Verità in 1910 in Ascona. One of its characteristic is to work with talented artists that have multi–artistic background. Looking at the evolution in the arts and its relation with the new language of the multimedia, in films, television but also on stage.
