#SwarAwards: RAMA JAYARAMAN WINS THE SINGER OF THE YEAR 2015 AWARD!.. With candidates of this caliber, it was always going to be a heartbreak to decide who should win the competition, because you know that they are all worthy of being selected. Yet, it is our duty to announce a single winner and so we had to pressure our judges to come up with a single name each. And the result was 2 votes for Rama and 1 for Nalini. It is therefore with great pleasure that we can announce Rama Jayaraman as the worthy winner of the Swar Systems Singer of the Year 2015 Award! A big cyber-applause to her!.. #SwarAwards: FINAL STARTED! Here we are, after months of competition, with 4 candidates still remaining. This is very unusual, but as you remember it was impossible to discard any of them in the semifinals. Now they are again submitting 2 imposed songs each - the first one being the same for all of them - and, oh boy, all we can say is that it's going to be a very tight final!.. #SwarAwards: ALL QUALIFIED FOR THE FINAL!.. For the first time in these awards, our judges haven't been able, nor had the heart to decide which candidate should be dropped for the final, as all submissions were of the highest quality, each in their own style. It was therefore decided that exceptionally all 4 contestants face each other in the final. We are now thinking about a proper challenge to be given to these finalists so as to avoid encountering a similar problem at that stage... We'll publish that decision shortly on our site.
