Inside Game Coaching Conference
Description
A two-day interactive conference on the psychology of performance and coaching for excellence. We believe that sports and sporting culture can be among the most powerful training grounds for building excellence, resilience, agility and leadership skills that extend far beyond the sporting life and arena.
Training programs that expose coaches of youth programs to neuroscience, practical psychology, mental training, visualisation techniques, or the relevance of valuing the contributions of all athletes, regardless of their athletic “worth”, simply don’t exist at the moment.
Our kids suffer when in an illconceived moment, a coach loses control, perspective or is less than exemplary.
This program will target their Inside Game, what they have to gain and lose and how to manage themselves while at the same time, increasing knowledge and practical skills for meeting the needs of young athletes, their parents, and other stakeholders.
The stakes are high and a single comment, glance or gesture from a beloved coach or trainer, can in an instant affect a child’s life, confidence, sense of selfworth and perspective on their achievements both on and off the field.
We want Coaches and Trainers to understand their power, how to wield it better not only for high performance and skills attainment, but for building balanced individuals who know their worth is not tied to sporting excellence alone, and who may one day be great leaders and coaches themselves.
