Veggies are super important, especially if your trying to lose weight. They are low calorie, packed with nutrients and should be a part of every meal! Most people should be eating close to 10 portions of veggies per day. Sometimes it can be hard to get enough at breakfast, during travel and when you're just too busy. Green powder mixes are a great supplement to keep around the house for moments when veggie intake is low. Green powder can be added to juice or smoothies and are a great source of nutrients. Home workouts can be an effective and efficient way to get in shape. If you don't have a lot of weight to work with, use your body weight. You can get a great training effect by adding some volume to your workouts by super setting (compounding) two movements that target the same muscle group. The video below is a compound set that pairs two pulling movements. I'm performing Pull ups and TRX Rows for 12 repetitions. Start with 5 Pull ups and do the rest on the TRX until you get to 12. The next set would be 4 Pull ups and 8 TRX Rows, and so on. Creativity will go a long way if your working out at home or on the go.
