Aus diesem Grund entschloss sich unser Mutterhaus, die Produktion der Kapsel selbst in die Hand zu nehmen und „In-House“ fertigen zu lassen. Dazu wurde die xpressivo ag mit Sitz in Grenchen gegründet.

Dear all after 4 years of R&D we are about to start serial production of our PLA based fully biodegradable and compostable capsule with 100% 02 barrier End of September 2016. to convince you - we can send out a sample box of 500 capsules to enable you testing it: - we can provide standard made PP with/without barrier coating with alulid/alternatively with a biodegradable PLA based lid. so your capsule will be ompletely aluminium free PBT based 100% barrier capsule with alu Lid PLA based 100% biodegradable and compostable capsule with 100% O2 barrier and perfect flavour preservation (SiOX coated). to enlist to get the samples - pls drop us a line. we will revert with a questionaire that has to be filled in. Clip is showing a PP based capsule (opaque) and a PLA based capsule (beige) with an alu-free lid,extracting at the same time…It is NOT produced by co-injection but 3-D coating with SiOx. For Patent applications reasons I had to conceal the sealing mean (covered by the white fleece ring visible). Bear in mind that the production of a PLA based barrier capsule is by far more challenging then the PP version. Perfect extraction – no water dripping into the capsule compartment etc.The second
