#GenerationNow will organize a series of pre-conference meetings to unite policy makers, implementers and advocates to increase understanding of and advocate for integrated HIV and SRHR policies to shape systems and services that meet those in need, including adolescents and young women. The first will take place on 22 July 2018 at the 22nd International AIDS Conference (AIDS 2018), in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Help stamp out HIV stigma this #ZeroDiscriminationDay by taking part in the Positive Action Challenge with the International AIDS Society and ViiV Healthcare. The Stamping out Stigma Challenge is seeking technological innovations and interventions which foster collaborations between public clinics and NGOs to increase stigma-free access to sexual and reproductive health (SRH) and HIV services for key populations. The prize amount is US$100,000 and applications close on 12 April 2018.

South African female sex workers are at high-risk of acquiring HIV, with a recent study reporting a prevalence of 72% in the greater Johannesburg area, and 40% and 54% in Cape Town and Durban respectively. A new study in the Journal of the International AIDS Society (JIAS) explores the potential uptake of PrEP as an HIV prevention option among female sex workers in South Africa.

Last chance to apply for a US$12,500 #IASYouthVoices grant to strengthen or develop youth-friendly HIV services in your community. The grants are available to young people under 30 years old based in Kenya, Malawi, South Africa, Tanzania or Zimbabwe who are working on youth-friendly HIV services in partnership with an HIV service provider/clinic.
