The Geneva Platform teamed up again with Amel Association International and La Sagesse University Faculty of Law and launched the 7th edition of the Summer School on Law and Armed Conflicts. Running this year from the 7th till the 15th of September, the pioneering program aims to provide students, lawyers and practitioners from the MENA with knowledge and expertise on International Humanitarian Law and International Criminal Law. Lecturers from different organizations including the ICRC, the OHCHR and Geneva Call will provide the participants with valuable information on the topics discussed and an opportunity to engage on many contemporary issues. By the end of the course, the organisers will pick out the best participants and grant them a (paid) opportunity to write short papers on topics of IHL or ICL of their choice. The papers will be published in a biennial journal due to be released in 2018. We wish all the participants all the best.
