When you make a choise you change the future. <3 The Benefits of Savasana Savasana helps relieve mild depression, high blood pressure, headaches, fatigue, and insomnia. Savasana can calm the nervous system and promote balance in your entire body. Fatigued muscles get to relax, tense shoulders and jaws soften, eyes closed to quiet mind. Savasana might look like a nap at the end of your yoga practice.— you lie down on your back and relax your body and mind so you can absorbe the healing benefits of your practice. Even a few minutes of Savasana has powerful benefits. Some common thoughts that pop up during Savasana: • Are we done yet? • I hope I didn’t just snore. • What am I making for dinner when I get home? • I’m hungry. • What’s my life all about, anyway? • I smell like sweat. • Did I remember to pay the meter? • Maybe I should quit my job. It takes practice and patience to surrender, so go easy on yourself. <3
Cold is not my element. Before I took my first icebath I was really scared! It was not the icewater that scared me, I was scared of the pain it would cause! I was scared of this unbearable excruciating pain, I didn`t want to feel. But the fears we don`t face become our limits. And than I thought about all the pain in my life that I had gotten through, some lasted days, some month or even years. If I could have gotten through all that with a 2 minute icebath, I would have absolutly done it. So... I took my first icebath, I focused on my breath and I was just fine. When you expose yourself to your fears you realize that fear has no power, that`s how you grow stronger. Don`t let your fear stop you.
