Despite the fact that we didn't get any money from SIDA, we had lots of people coming together last sunday (16th of april) and managed to produce great ideas for how we can make the best out of our situation. We are definietly going to make an impact and have FUN! Listen up! We have finished: * Making the plakats with the SDG wheel * We have sent in the application about the Stand at Valborg * We have permission to put up banners on Ekonomikum building and at Gågatan * We have sent the press release * We have a crowd fund up and hopefully after easter we have some kind of result * We have T-shirts, transfer paper, cardboard, paint, Zip ties, QR codes, For this Sunday * Connor Allen is checking up with VISIBIA if we can print the SDG from them and iron it on our T-shirts * Mirea Lauria is sewing together white cloth and makes a big SDG banner for the Samba train * Guy Finkill will go and buy some white T-shirts/Hoodies when Connor Allen has confirmed that we can print at VISIBIA * Robin Rushdi Al-Sálehi is checking the prices for the banners and makes and order * Karl Andreasson puts together and start spreading the educational workshop about the SDG * The police should by Sunday tell us about the permission for the Stand. * Talk to the students making the boats!? * Make some kind of competition or other interesting activity for those at the park to "take away". * We will also dicuss if we should have people at Forsränning or if we only focus at having our stand and joining the samba train For valborg * Fleur Schouten is going to buy 2 pavilions to have on our stand * Robin Rushdi Al-Sálehi is buying 1 or 2 sets of the sustainable development goals to put up at our stand and/or on Ekonomikum building * Robin Rushdi Al-Sálehi, Guy Finkill and Suhas Singh are printing our broschyres to give out at the stand * Guy Finkill + Fossile Free is bringing a table, QR codes, Zip ties, donation box, oil platform, * Plan the day with the Samba Group We still need: * Megaphone * Rope + banner pegs * More white t-shirts * 2x tree poles for the banners as a background in the pavilion. Have you heard about the new Sustainable Development Goals? Would you like to join a Samba train? Do you want to make this Valborg memorable and also make an impact? Then come join us the 27th of April for a volunteer training to prepare for valborg! This Valborg, Gröna Grannar will bring the SDGs home to the Ekonomikum park! Join us as our team of volunteers learn about the SDGs and design new ways to interact with people. Take the chance to make your Valborg more meaningful by volunteering an hour or two at Gröna Grannars exhibit in the park, engaging and spreading the word about the SDGs. The volunteer workshop on thursday will be facilitated by Guy Finkill and Robin Rushdi Al-Sálehi that will help you become experts in the SDG's. Welcome!

Great job everyone last meeting 9/4. We used the stencile and made a lot of SDG wheels to put on boats or use as plakats if we want. We also talked a bit about the plan and it looks like we still are on the same page, so that's awsome! For next time: SIDA will answer us about the application on the 12th of April - If we get a confirmation on our application we will send our: * Press release to actors in Uppsala - Robin Rushdi Al-Sálehi * Buy the banners and flyers from Lasertryck.se - Robin Rushdi Al-Sálehi * Create a mandatory educational workshop about the SDG's for all those that want to work during Valborg particiapting in our campaign - Karl Andreasson is keen on doing this. (We need to be at least 20 people working with this activly) * Gotten an answer from the Samba group (meeting them on thursday 18:30 at V-dala) - Magnus Mango Josephson We will also make sure to plan the whole capaign after the educational workshop dividing everyone in groups and putting everything together. Robin Rushdi Al-Sálehi is away between 18 and 23 of april when this workshop is due, so Fleur Schouten, Dani Ceder, Karl Andreasson, Guy Finkill, Sims Meyer-Rodrigues, Connor Allen, Björn Eriksson and Suhas Singh will put it together and gather peoples information. The preliminary plan right now is as follows: 08:30 - Gather at Ekonomikum parken eating breakfast and dubbel checking everything. A couple of people stay at our "Stand" (hopefully) next to the banner and the rest go down to Forsränningen. 09:30 - Give out flyers and make sure that the boats or the plakats are up 10:00 Start the Samba train when the Forsränning is over and give out flyers on our walk back to Ekonomikum - party mode 11:30 Lunch - Those that want to chill at the stand does so, the rest can chill with friends 13:30 We start the Samba party again, give out flyers and educate people. 15:30 - We should be done What we need to plan before Valborg: * Where and who that is going to put up the small banners around Uppsala * How and who that is going to put up the big banner at Ekonomikum * Where we will put the Stand and what we will have there * When we will use the Samba group * We will also need to figure out the logistics of food/water, backpacks for the flyers and some kind of app to chatt with each other. Other then that, during the meeting on the 16/4 we will: * Finish off the SDG wheels * Make the last plakats out of the stuff we have left * Have the T-shirts and hoodies ironed with the SDG's * Finished sending in the permission to the police for the "stand" at Ekonomikum Dani Ceder * Create a Facebook event for the actual SDG campaign that we will be hosting on Valborg for everyone to see * Guy Finkill has made QR codes that redirects people to the UNDP site and Globalamålen.se * Robin Rushdi Al-Sálehi make sure to dubbel check everything!!! On the 2/4 we where about 10 people coming together planning, discussing and making SDG campaign material. Was very interesting and fun! We have an outlined plan for how the campaign will take form during Valborg the 30th of april. Next time we will finish making the campaign material. Hopefully we have some more information to plan for the week after, when we will know if we get funding from SIDA or not. We still need: * More plywood and Cardboard * T-shirts in different colors to iron/paint on the SDG's * Printing out more flyers and other stuff to use * People that are interested in joining and helping us out during Valborg Welcome to this next creative meeting!

After a really good and lively first meeting about the SDG campaign for Valborg we decided that we will the 2th of april create some of the material we will use during Valborg! We will: * Create plakats, posters, flyers, t-shirts with the goals printed/painted and create other stuff from that which we come by * Look through and discuss the different ideas we came up with during the meeting on 26/3 and decide how we will put together our budget and buy the stuff we need before 30th of april * Plan for the next meeting 9th of april. If you want, bring with you paint, T-shirts/hoodies in white, cardboard, plywood, hard paper and anything else you might think of to make signs and poster out of for this campaign! We at Gröna Grannar will be applying for a contribution from The board for international development cooperation (SIDA). We can apply for between 50'000- 300'000 kr and with that money we want to reach out to as many people as possible and educate them about the SDG. To do this, our plan is to hire as many as possible to join our campaign with the money, but to also buy material and do marketing. Because we don't know if we will get any money, this event will be for all those interested to make an event even if we won't get any money at all. Our plan right now is to set up this campaign during valborg and this meeting we will try to gather as many interested as possible and plan for the whole thing!
