Casa Campo de la Luz
Description
Casa Campo de la Luz- Get off the grid & enjoy the serenity of an Andalucian 3br eco home (solar powered) in the countryside of Vejer de la Frontera, Spain Casa Campo de la Luz is an eco home built from locally sourced materials - wood and stone and run off solar power. Set in 6000 sq meters of gardens the house and land have sweeping views over the surrounding countryside and distant views of the Atlantic ocean and the costa de la luz of southern Andalucia. From the garden you can watch the sky turn from brilliant blue to the sublime hues of the setting sun, and if you need to get closer to the action we suggest you roll down the hill to our local favourite beaches Playa Mangueta and Playa El Palmar - grab a bite to eat, a beer and listen to some tunes with the horizon as your view at one of our local favourites, Bar Saboy, Bar El Cartero or Cafe Al Zocaire.
The house consists of 3 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms and an open plan living, dining, kitchen area. The living area opens out onto two patios, one with a beautiful bougainvillea and grape vines the other with sun loungers.
We have 3 other smaller self contained studio cottages for 2-6 people in the process of being built.
We're just outside of the beautiful village Vejer de la Frontera famous for it's commanding hill top position with killer views over the Andalucian countryside, the Atlantic Ocean and on a clear day / night Morocco! Nearby (within an hours drive) are Jerez de la Frontera (our favourite city of the south) famous for it's sherry wines and moorish architecture. Not to mention Cadiz, one of the oldest cities in Europe, Tarifa for the sports enthusiasts, Medina Sidonia, Arcos de la Frontera and Conil de la Frontera. Further afield are Seville (2 hrs drive) and Gibraltar / Algeciras.
If you're keen to hop over to Morocco, day trips are available from Tarifa for €50* including the ferry cost (45 mins each way). *Prices are subject to change depending on the season.
