Loro Parque has joined the World Aquaria Against Marine Litter campaign organized by the European Commission. Every year millions of tons of trash end up in our oceans. It is estimated that by the year 2050 there will be more plastic that fish in the sea. We have united our forces with aquariums all over the world to fight oceans contamination by adverting about the problem to involve thousands of visitors and show them practical solutions like recycling, reusing and avoiding plastic containers. In Loro Parque we believe in a more sustainable living style and we are convinced that education plays a vital role in the conservation of biodiversity. #OurOcean
