Emdeni Skills Development Centre is a division of Abraham Kriel Childcare. The centre provides skills training to the youth of Emdeni and surrounding areas Annually 280 students between the ages of 18 and 35 benefit from the skills training courses at the Emdeni Skills Development Centre.
The centre offers the following courses:
- End User Computing
- Tunnel Agriculture
- Assistant Chef
- Tiling
- Painting
With each skills training course, students must also take part in the following courses:
- Business Management
- Life Skills
An information Centre is also available where more than 3600 people from the community use the centre yearly for Internet access, ID applications, CVs, photocopying/printing, faxing, government information etc.

Emdeni Skills Development Centre in partnership with Gauteng Enterprise propeller hosted a workshop with our Enterprise Development Companies . The core business of the workshop was about funding for SMMEs and Coorperatives and also non-financial support such as training in business, writting, financial management and sales and marketing.
