Dear BCRM Residents FAULTY ESKOM TRANSFORMER AND REPLACEMENT THEREOF: On Friday afternoon, 3 February 2017, one of the two 10 MVA transformers supplying Blue Crane Route Municipality with electricity went faulty. As the remaining transformer cannot handle the load, load shedding has to be done. Load shedding is done in cycles of 3 hour interruptions. The replacement transformer is on site, as well as Eskom technicians working on the problem. We are hopeful that the situation will be sorted out by tomorrow, afternoon Tuesday, 5 February. However load shedding is going to continue in some areas today. We urge consumers to decrease the use of electricity in some electrical appliances to combat the load shedding. BCRM apologies for this inconvenience, it is working hard with Eskom to ensure that the problem is solved soon. For any futher questions, kindly call the BCRM Offices on 042 243 6400.
