Electrotech - Construction & Electrical Electrotech Prieska was founded in 2012 by the current Operations Director, Morné Bredenhann. Initially, as a sole proprietor, Morné focussed on providing a service to the local residents in terms of general installations and maintenance of Electrical appliances. With the onset of renewable energy development in the area, Zak Barnard, a local businessman approached Morné and porposed a more industrious approach with focus towards renewable energy and mining, both strong components of the future economic growth in the area. Zak joined as Managing Director and has since been responsible for Strategy and New Business development, while Morné foscusses on Operational Execution. In November 2013 Electrotech Launched a Civil Division, since a gap in the “General Building” market was identified. Starting of with as staff compliment of four, the division has grown in leaps and bounds, with numerous contracts being completed over the last 18 months, the most notable being a residential property to the value of R600,000 completed in August 2015. http://www.ncds.org.za/company-electrotech.html
