GOVENANCE JOB OPPORTUNITY AT MUSEUM ADVERTISEMENT FOR AN EXTENDED PUBLIC WORKS PROGRAMME [EPWP] [The EPWP is targeting youth (18-35 years old), women and the disabled] As part of the Extended Public Works Programme [EPWP], the HOUT BAY MUSEUM hereby invites prospective candidates with suitable qualifications to apply for an EPWP work opportunity on a contract basis at the MUSEUM. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: A Grade 12 qualification. Good written and verbal communication skills in two of the 3 official languages of the Western Cape. The successful candidate must be computer literate. JOB PROFILE: The successful candidate will be required to assist the Museum Manager and the Governing Body of the Museum with duties related to the core function of the museum. This will include assisting with visitors, public programs and other functions. Willing, occasionally, to work unusual hours REMUNERATION: The remuneration that the successful candidate will receive is in line with the EPWP framework. The successful candidate will also receive structured training as part of their contract appointment. CLOSING DATE: Before 4pm on Thursday 17th August 2017 Candidates are requested to submit the Z83 application form (available from the Museum), a CV and a certified copy of their Grade 12 certificate and SA ID Document in a sealed envelope to the Museum on or before the closing date.
