e-Centres are the physical locations where Cape Access provides computers and internet access. These are placed in communities where access to ICT is limit What is Cape Access?
It is a programme that provides access to information and communication technologies (ICT) to less privileged and rural communities across the Western Cape. ICT is a term used to describe a range of technologies that include computers, cell phones and the internet, as well as the various services and applications associated with them.
Members of the e-Centres get free:
Use of computers
Access to the internet
Access to e-mail
Printing (a maximum of 10 pages per person per day)
Basic computer training
Access to government information and services
Access to job, business and research information
Accredited computer training
