Creating beautifully crafted children's play parks and jungle gyms. See our website www.woodenelements.co.za What we are noticing more and more are the possibilities of creating not only a Playhouse or only a Jungle Gym, but to actually incorporate the two.
By putting the playhouse on stilts it gives endless opportunities to build on in stages (or do it all in one swoop).
There’s the possibility of monkey bars, fireman’s pole, sandpit (underneath house). If you have a tree (the bigger the better) in your garden you can start with a Crows nest and then add on a fireman’s pole, monkey bars, give the Crows nest a little roof…. the possibilities are really endless….
This is what gave birth to our unique play towers, which incorporate the feel of a play house with all the jungle gym elements attached and provide space underneath for a shady sandpit.
Wooden Elements offers three standard sizes of Playhouses, these can have extra’s added to them (stilts, stable door, cottage pane windows). Please see our website for details.
We do custom build playhouses too. For example a barn style playhouse – build to match the existing barn style house on the property; Playhouses with a back trap door leading to a crows nest around the tree or even a Castle style playhouse. All customised jobs require a custom quote, please contact us for this.
In the last couple of years Wooden Elements has been blessed with the opportunity of creating unique and exciting commercial playparks, from conceptualisation right through to installation for places such as V&A Waterfront, Zevenwacht Wine Estate and Shoprite Checkers kids play area. We have designed these areas with patrons, children and our clients in mind.
Wooden Elements also stock the unique Indi Spinning Balance Board. These boards simulate the experience that one might have when surfing in the open water. These locally made boards are great for co-ordination and spatial awareness for children and adults alike!
