Great place for an active, family holiday. Our hotel is situated in the Alpine region of Slovenia, overlooking Lake Zbilje (stretching behind the dammed River Sava) and surrounded with beautiful green meadows. From the hotel rooms is a stunning view of the River Sava, the Valburga Village and Smlednik with its Old Castle. More distant, yet also beautiful is a view of the central ridge of Kamniške Alps. Karavenke and Julian Alps with Slovenia's highest peak - Triglav.
We provide accommodation in 4 suites and 25 rooms. Our excellent restaurant, sitting 180 guests, has different separate booths and a glassed veranda with a view of the lake. Our guests can enjoy a kids’ swimming pool, a garden bar, four tennis courts and a kids’ playground. The guests can also use a sauna (Turkish and Finnish), a fitness hall and two conference rooms (sitting 20 to 80 persons).
Hotel Kanu offers complete services to mobile homes owners.
The hotel garden is suitable for picnics and other open-space events. We offer horse-back pony rides, fishing and rowing on the lake.
