Diagenomi Ltd. is a young high-tech company that offers services and solutions in three different areas of molecular biology.  We have made an important step towards personalized medicine with the introduction of pathology supported genetic tests like CardioRISQ, which gives individuals guidelines for a healthier lifestyle and reduction of potential cardiovascular complications. As well we provide tests that enable physicians to effectively and quickly adapt treatment decisions for individual patients with the genetic analysis of breast and colon cancer samples. Diagenomi Ltd. is also involved in educational programs, where it offers workshops for molecular techniques such as quantitative PCR. For this reason we developed a stand alone computes program for data analysis and normalization. Among other DiaGenomi Ltd. also collaborates with several research groups in basic research.

No doubt, genomics-only approach to health risk assessments are known to have its limitations. DiaGenomi overcomes limitations and integrates genotyping in a multidisciplinary framework and includes diverse patient data (i.e., biochemistry, nutritional, lifestyle, and environmental data) to provide a wholesome health risk analysis capable of detecting areas of risks and prevention/treatment strategies beyond traditional health risk assessments. https://www.myrisq.com/cardiorisq

Lipid profiling coupled with nutrition and lifestyle analysis can offer so much more when analysis screens also for mutations in CV genes. CVD risks may be determined as much higher, unique nutritional needs may have to be addressed. Genetically assisted Health Risk Assessments will help determine beast treatment/prevention strategies.

Genetics can make traditional Health Risk Assessment (HRA) shine! Carefully selected genetic markers, when integrated with biometric screening, traditional HRA and lifestyle assessment can detect individual nutritional needs and future health risks. These many times cannot be picked-up and properly addressed by only analyzing lifestyle and biometric data due to our genes interacting with other genes and the environment. These interactions may form inefficiencies in important metabolic processes involved in CV function an have great health implications that cannot be addressed only by an increase in physical activity and employment of healthy eating habits. With help of geneticists and nutritionits best prevention or treatment approach can be chosen. CardioRISQ assessment is such genetically assisted HRA https://www.myrisq.com/cardiorisq-for-physicians

Even among those at highest genetic risk, lifestyle factors can reduce incidence by one half. Healthy lifestyle can reduce the risk of heart disease. But what about people who have inherited gene variants known to increase risk? They can benefit from it too! According to "ScienceDaily.com", a study led by Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) investigators has found that, even among those at high genetic risk, following a healthy lifestyle can cut in half the probability of a heart attack or similar event. Their report is receiving early online publication in the New England Journal of Medicine to coincide with a presentation at the American Heart Association (AHA) Scientific Sessions.

In a recent study of 47 National Hockey League (NHL) players ACL injuries in ice hockey were identified to shorten professional careers, on ice productivity, number of games played. These findings scream for identification of ligament injury-prone athletes by physical and genetic screening and establishing pre-habilitative protocols for such individuals. SportInjuryRISQ (https://www.myrisq.com/sportinjuryrisq) test screens athletes for genetic predisposition and for ligament injuries, particularly ACL and AT. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/26667371
