Ranked just behind Sweden and Finland, this makes us the third most forested country in the European Union. 😉😍 This beautiful forest is part of a high karst plateau in the Julian Alps. This is actually a local destination. 😉❤ It is the place you go to, if you are from Ljubljana and you need to cool down a bit in this summer heat, or just enjoy the nature 😊 just a quick drive from Ljubljana and you arrive to Podpeško Jezero (Podpeško lake) 😍

Seashells everywhere! ❤ In Slovenia we only have this one seashell dune and it can be found by the sea in Ankaran. We call it "pokopališče školjk" which means the shell cemetery 😉If you love seashells and you are by the seaside, you can collect as many as you wish on this amazing shell dune 😍

What a beautful place 😍 Sundays are perfect for a sundae at Colnarna Trboje. 🍨😉❤ This place is a little heaven by Trboje Lake. Being so close to Ljubljana this is one of our favourite quick escapes from the City 🍧🍦👍
