Our ducks' eggs are usually eaten by a night predator (a kind of ferret) outside in the pound. So, we had to collect some duck eggs from their mothers and keep them warm on an electric brooder / an 'incubator'. Five days ago, 2 of the ducks were born and today 2 more!! So, as you can see on the last picture, we have already 3 strong little baby ducks 😀 Later today, the fourth one will join its siblings. This is really wonderful to watch! Spring time is the best! 🦆🦆🦆🦆

Book exchange, what a great idea from Fabien & Sandrine (French living in USA)! ➡️ Thanks for allowing us to stay a bit longer today. We truly enjoyed our time at your place! Everything is gorgeous, the bread delivery, the supplies in the fridge and the wine were greatly appreciated. 😊 Sandrine also liked having some readings and she did a book exchange (we hope you don't mind) she borrowed "Indigo" and left "En route Simone".⬅️ Vacationing & Reading at Casa da Raposeira 👌 (we must update this photo now...)
