I Kautokeino finner du det levende samiske, det ekte og opprinnelige. Den samiske kulturen står sterkt forankret i oss som bor her og Kautokeino har alltid vært det samiske kultursenter. Du som gjest kan bli kjent med den samiske kultur gjennom musikk, joik, teater, film og festivaler. I Sápmi - langt inne på Finnmarksvidda er opplevelsene tett knyttet til naturen. Villmarken er mektig, himmelen er større, månen er nærmere og nordlyset er et dagligdags fenomen på vinteren. I sommerhalvåret sørger midnattsola for lyse og fagre sommernetter.

Duottar camp er en campingplass med hytter (alle med kokemuligheter og kjøleskap), plass til campingvogner, campingbiler og teltplasser. Vi har 2, 4 og 6-manns hytter+ stor lavvo hvor du kan grille eller bare nyte kvelds bålet.

Duottar camp is located in Kautokeino, Norway, in the very heart of Sápmi (a.k.a. Lapland)

Guovdageaidnu/Kautokeino, Norway, is located on the tundra-plateu of inner-Finnmark in northern Norway. It's populated by the sámi people and their culture.
Guovdageaidnu/Kautokeino is perhaps the cultural center of Northern Sápmi today, and hosts several of he most well known Sami cultural events.

The most spectacular adventure in Sápmi for tourists is the nature and the wilderness. Experiencing the silence, huge wilderness areas, the midnightsun during summerseason and the aurora borealis during winterseason, is worth more than it's weight in gold.

At Duottar camp you are most welcome, either you want to camp with a caravan, a mobile home, a tent or want to hire a cabin. We offer cabins for 2, 4 or 6 persons. Duottar camp has good sanitary facilities and access to kitchen.

Duottar camp also offers adventurous activities such as hunting and fishing trips, as requested by the customer. Please contact us for more information.
