This bridge is our attitude to those God places in our journey, how do treat people? Especially those you seem better than. Carelessly, hopelessly, disdainfully? Are you carrying a broken bridge along in your journey, have you consciously or unconsciously destroyed the bridges you built with malice, strife, bitterness, envy or the worse of all pride. Do you see yourself better than others? It's a major bridge destroyer. Remember everything is a seed, even life itself is a seed with consequent harvest in our journey. Life The Journey This is for those who seem to be alone, who life has dealt tragic blows. Even the life that was moving slow looks as if it has finally come to a screeching halt. You look around and no one, I repeat no one can truly help out. Those who look capable give quite reasonable excuses you don't have right to question, and those who love to genuinely help are incapacitated. Then frustration gradually creeps in because you are human, it builds a home and generate bitterness and then you envy anyone who's situation is better than yours. Sooner or later you have so many enemies you cooked up in your heart. The life seem unfair (of course it's unfair though) and you begin to exhibit certain characters in public that will bring mockery and disdain from even close friends, it seems all is totally finished when you begin to contemplate suicide. Just when you think all its over just remember the darkest part of the night precede the dawning of a new day. Remember the sun does not require human effort to make it shine and it takes large rubbles and dirty particles to make a wild fire. I encourage you to use all the disappointment and pains you felt as a propeller to your engine as you wake up tomorrow morning . When You Push It Let It Roll Life is liking to ball, you have to kick it to score. Avoid the pressure of hitting at a favourite spot for there's no perfection in first touch, neither do men become great in a mad rush. Life is liking to a dice, you have to shake very well in anticipation for the right side. Likewise effort is important but certainly not enough to live a great life. Every dream, goal and vision backed with necessary action still has a set time, having breath or being well is never by your own might. Even in the hustle and bustle always be grateful for life. So when you push it let it roll. Life comes in circles that rotates towards our desired goals, There's no true greatness that can be achieved alone, we need each other to make the world a happy home. With great reluctance I write this post because I don't want to get involved with the current political tussle going on in the country but after listening to someone's 'supposed' advise, i realise the bane of Africa's trouble particularly Nigeria is the fact that we mixup political, ethnic and religious issues, hence the civil wars and unrest in some African countries Nigeria inclusive. Politics is basically the debate between parties with great ideologies and sound minds justling for power, and as such there are bound to be opinions and counter opinions. It's all about the party that best present its opinion to the voters that carries the day, the losers takes the seat of opposition by putting the ruling party on their toes with constructive criticism having the general good of the country first in all things. Note: I said CONSTRUCTIVE criticism not propaganda. As citizens that truly have the good interest of the country at heart, we must first stand for what is right and uphold the nation's constitution at all times. And if there be a need for reform of the laws, then it should be done accordingly. For those that want to criticize any government actions, it should be done constructively with solutions proffered. Rather than give criticism based on religious, ethnic and other frivolous sentiments. The ruling party should be humble enough to look at constructive criticism and see if there is any meaningful point, rather than stand defensive and lay blames.. The Progress of Nigeria should be the utmost priority of political parties and the citizens in general. So let's stop the media ranting and get back to work, we have a nation to build for our children. God bless Nigeria.
