I SEEK FOR POWER TO DEFEND THE INTEREST OF MY CONSTITUENCY NOT FOR POLITICAL GAIN.......CHIEF DR.CHRISTOPHER EKIYOR

Hon Engr Jude Sinebe is the "Commissioner For Higher Education Delta State" He is not a/the member representing Patani in the Delta State house of Commissioners(if there's anything like that) that should be answerable to the people of his LGA. Note: he wasn't elected to represent Patani LGA but appointed by the governor to run the ministry of higher education in delta state. Therefore; He's answerable to the governor not the people of his LGA. Talking about Townhall meeting, when the executive governor of Delta State, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa and his executives went round Delta State for Townhall meetings, taking questions and giving briefs of the achievements and progress of the governor OKOWA's government, it was Evident that the ministry of "higher education" led by yours truly, Engr Jude Sinebe was adjudged to have done exceedingly well... Talking about Engr Jude Sinebe not holding a Townhall meeting in Patani LGA; going by precedence, No commissioner in the history of Patani LGA (if not Delta State) has held a townhall meeting before but Engr Jude Sinebe did by visiting the the 10 wards in Patani LGA, taking questions and giving answers during the Easter Celebrations last year April, Engr Jude Sinebe was commended by the grassroot people that "Nobody, be it elected or appointed has Ever come to the electorates in Patani LGA to celebrate and sensitize the grassroot people on the needs and challenges faced by the people and the govt especially when it is not an electioneering year" On connecting/assisting the grassroot people; There's no appointed or elected Leader in Patani LGA, presently in this administration, that can be compared to Engr Jude Sinebe. despite his limited funds, not forgetting his primary function is to serve the entire State, he still spreads the JOY to all

DEMOCRACY IS A TERM FROM THE GREEK LANGUAGE MEANING" rule by the people"....> AKPOS HARRISON AKOWEI MAY 29TH 2017 Abraham Lincoln, one time president of United State ( 1809-1865) defined democracy as "a government of the people, by the people, for the people" Democracy is by far the most challenging form of government, both for the politicians and for the people because of it defined essential elements like seperation of power, basic civil rights/ human right, religious liberty and seperation of church and state It can still be defined as the opposite to other types of government e.g, Monarchy: A government by a single ruler ( king, queen or emperror) Aristocracy: A government of noblemen (hereditary) Oligarchy: A government by few persons. Theocracy: Government by God but in reality, it is a government by religious leaders. Dictatorship: A government by people who seized power by force ( military dictatorship) Unlike other government, democracy offers an interplay between the government and the people, its obviously the best and most practiced system of government wold over, it provide room for TRANSPARENCY, ACCONTABILITY OR STEWARDSHIP through the freedom of information which is indeed the right and freedom of humanity. Today, the 29th of may 2017, the birthday of democracy/ two years in office of the present administration, it is expected to be celebrated with ACCOUNTABILITY/ STEWARDSHIP to the people at the arena of celebration or other means Kudos to the SMARTEST governor, Sen.Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, the executive governor of Delta State for taking the lead in upholding the expectation of Deltans by presenting account of stewardship through his ongoing town hall meeting and it is expected that all elected office holders should emmulate the SMART governor by doing same in their various constituency, LGAs and Wards It is no news that the APC led administration has brought our economy to its kneel and we do not expect magic from the elected office holders, just present your account of stewardship the way it is, to mark your two years in office celebration. Finally i will like to congratulate the people of the federal republic of Nigeria and the Peoples Democratic Party, for sustaining our democracy from 1999 -2015 before handing over to the APC led administration, and i pray it remain sustained in Jesus Name Long live Patani LGA! Long live Delta State!! Long live federal republic of Nigeria!!!
