*My Sunday message for you today* **ON FINANCES** The major difference between the rich and the poor is their thought pattern. The poor have the habit of saying, "I can't afford it." while the rich say, "How can I afford it?" One is a statement, and the other is a question. One lets you off the hook, and the other forces you to think. By automatically saying the words, "I can't afford it", your brain stops working, and in no time gets shut down. But by asking the question, "How can I afford it?", your brain is instantly put to work. Automatically saying, "I can't afford it" is a sign of mental laziness. The difference between these two analogies can be likened to the difference between a person who goes to the gym to exercise on a regular basis, and someone who sits on the couch watching the Tv. Just as proper physical exercise increases your chances for health, proper mental exercise also increases your chances for wealth. *LAZINESS DECREASES BOTH HEALTH & WEALTH.* Your brain gets stronger everyday if you excercise it. And the stronger it gets, the more money you can make. The poor are poor not because of the amount of money they earn, but because of their thoughts patterns and actions. Be careful of the way you think. Any thought that controls your mind controls your life. If you are always tolerating that poverty mentality that keeps saying, "I can't afford the registration money for *Alliance in Motion GLOBAL*", you won't be able to afford it. *You can't change a situation you tolerate.* Why not try asking yourself, "How can I afford it?". The day you decide to stop tolerating your level, that's the day the next level opens-up. The truth is that, there is no excuse for poverty mentality, not even the excuse of 'economic crunch'. Real leaders stay on top of the game; they think outside the box; they think above the situation. Poverty is not a state of the pocket but of the mind. I was informed by a friend in 200 level that,the families of the innocent security man dat was killed are traitening to kill students who lives in the school nearby villages as revenge to the death of their father.So pls if any one of us is living in any of d nearby villages should try to vacate and start looking for accomodation else where for safety reasons.We will be happier if we graduate together.ONE LOVE MKTS And again,asuu are also traitening to embark on a strike due to their unpaid salaries. The management of federal university of agriculture makurdi has just issued a 2weeks break/suspension or closure of the school following the resent killing of 5 student and 1 security yesterday night been the 8 day of June... It can be recalled that 1student were killed just on Monday 6 day of June
